Carney had another solid showing last night with 25 points, 8 rebounds (5 offensive rebounds), and 2 steals. I'm really interested in seeing what an Andre Iguodala and Rodney Carney duo can be capable of in the future.
Carney can really get it done when he's given enough playing time. Rod and Iggy are definately our swingmen for the future.
I'm just wondering then, if we land the top pick of the draft, and let's say Greg Oden doesn't declare, do we draft Kevin Durant considering we already have Andre Iguodala and Rodney Carney? If we do, then that means we would have 3 young swingmen with loads of potential. I don't see how we can find playing time for all 3 of them. Unless of course, Andre moves to point guard........

Brandan Wright, Julian Wright, Joakim Noah, and Hasheem Thabeet are all bigs, one is bound to declare. I'd love to get my hands on Brandan Wright or Oden though...
Carney looked great again and him and Iggy look like they will do some damage in the future. In the draft with our 3 first rounders i would like us to draft a point gaurd (Ronald Steele or some other top notch pg) and two bigs because Sammy isnt producing enough and Webber is on the way out.

<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Good </div> Yessir. Matter of fact, I'll start on it now.
Also note Carney shot 12-22 so it's not like he was forcing it. He was knocking down good shots. Very happy to see this.

Yes, since the first or second time I saw Carney this season, I really thought he could be a good prospect for the future. Carney also has a very good first step and is looked exlosive getting up for the dunk. That Iverson is away now and with Miller, I hope it will help them both to develop.

Damn, that would be an athletic line-up
if that were to happen, igoudala would definately need to improve his pg skills. not too sure if that would work out. i think drafting a good pg, and some big men would be the safe route. or just trading carney if we pick up durrant.
Durant CAN play PF... And @ Brian...I'll prolly finish it up tonight, got sidetracked with the job interview and all.

I dont think i would like to see durrant trying to D up against any of the power forwards in the nba right now. Im sure he CAN play pf, but i think he would be better suited to play sf or sg.

There is no way you trade Iguodala at this point the guy is a absolute stud. A coaches favorite problem to have is having too much talent to work with.
