when does my score officially show? I managed to find what I got last night but my offical score is still 0 also would it be possible to add sorting options when checking out the players? The players results is hard to sift through in the current market section and the prices listed in there are different for some players when you actually go to buy them. How or when do the prices change. I see that Danny's team is up to 70 mil, which is kinda absurd for having just 7 days head start on me. Also for Noah, he's listed as a C/F but I can't make him active in as a forward for tonight? Do I have to buy him as a forward not a center? is there a limit to cut/signings or can you revamp your team each day to have the max # of ppl getting points? that's gonna be a lot of work IMO.

Looking forward to keeping my team up to snuff
so I got points for yesterday's games but not the day before. As linked above when I go to that page it shows my points. Did I not receieve those points because I was editing my team the following morning when the scores were being updated? that's a bug IMO because I had that team set before the games began as I did it during the day on Wednesday. Also, I had a pretty good score that day too so it would suck to lose those points

There was a bug that allowed your team to gain score, though it had only 11 players on the roster. I reset your score to 0 for that day. Gotta follow the rules! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ghoti @ Jan 4 2008, 07:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I definitely set a lineup for 1/3, but I have no score.</div> I see in the database lineups for your team for 12/31, 1/1, 1/2, and 1/4. Is there a prize? I think you could make it better if you made it easier to find stuff for the next few days gams so you know who to start, injury trackers aswell Also, lets say I want to cut Dwyane Wade because he's injured..is there a way to trade him in for someone of equal value (because im over the cap) or do i have to cut and then re-sign all my crappy players to get cap room first

If you bought Wade at $10M and sell him for $11M, you gain $1M of cap space, potentially. You are under the same kinds of restraints that the actual NBA GMs are
I'd like to see a banner or message pop-up for participants to remind them to set their lineups. Similar to the PM delivery system. I visit the site daily but yesterday was just a quickie and I forgot to set my lineup. Also a forum attached to the section would be ideal for discussions such as this one. It would be nice to set lineups for more than a day at a time as well.
Yeah, I think I might have the game send people a PM to remind them to make their picks. That way, they get e-mail notification, too.
as long as you could opt out of email or the system all together, it would be a huge asset. even a banner ala pick'em near the top could help for the time being. i can catch up but i gotta be on my game!
Im having a problem. Ive just signed Mario West and tried to set him as a bench player on my lineup page, it wont work. Plus, when I signed him, his name didnt show up on my lineup page on any of the lists unless I used one of the drop down lists. I hope im making sense: essentially I cant use Mario West on the lineups page
OK, I found the problem. You need to cut and re-sign him and then I think it'll all work proper. Note: When you cut or sign a new player, you have to redo your lineup, since you could have cut your starting C, if you know what I mean.

I had 3 centers on my roster. I cut one of the two that was listed under the center position to sign an extra guard. The game doesn't move the center I had in the bench area to the open center spot and now I can't set a center on my lineup.
The only time the game deletes your lineup from the database is after you've set one and then cut or add players via the GM screen. If you have Bynum as your starting C in the lineup, and cut him, then the lineup isn't valid anymore. Lineups are dated as follows. At 9PM PT / 12AM ET, the "day" starts. You can set one lineup per day. The game should not let you set a lineup for a "day" after the games have started. All you have to do to create a lineup for a day is visit the Lineup page. Your lineup card is stored in the DB whether you change your lineup or not. Scoring is done in the AM when I wake up. The sportsticker files come in overnight, generally by 4AM, but I'm a little nervous about automating the scoring program at 4AM, because it could screw up if all the required ST files aren't in yet. It could happen that the sportsticker files don't come in until after 6AM or some other time on some days. So I have to watch it. If you are dubious about the game working proper, as in not recording your lineups, you might write down the time of day you set your lineups and compare against your transactions and see if there's not one later.
2 questions. under the current market will the players scores be updated? Marcus Camby has had 975 points since i joined how does the value of a player work? I bought Josh Smith for 9.8 Mill he's current listed at 10.something mil but it says if I sell him I'll only get the 9.8 mil. How do I increase my net salary cap then like others have?
Another issue with Joakim Noah. I can't put him at Center or Forward in my starting line. His name just doesn't appear. He does show up for the reserve spots though. any ideas?
