    #1 is Wiggins
    #2 is Noel
    #3 is Mirotic

    3. Nikola Mirotic, Chicago Bulls (2)

He almost dropped two spots, to fourth, but playing so well early and earning big minutes on a championship contender buys some patience. Some. But 31.3 percent from the field the last 10 games, a drop-off in rebounding and fouling on a 3-point shot two games in a row is a very bad look. Mirotic has suddenly regressed to the 19-year-old rookie in his first week of professional life, not a 23-year-old with several years of experience in Europe's best league.

Is the Mitotic (Mirotic) a Kurt (Kirk) kind of thing?

Wiggins is probably a lock. Mirotic at 2,3 or even 4 is still pretty damn good and a freaking whole lot better than a lot of fans predicted when he came over.

This draft class has been sorta decimated by injuries.

The Lakers' Julius Randle was likely to be in the discussion, as was Jabari Parker.

Niko was playing so well there for a short time that I thought he might win the award.
