http://columbian.com/article/20080922/BLOGS05/809229969/-1/blazerbanter Here's the comment that got me from KP He has no problem painting Nate into a corner with Rudy. That speaks to a lot of confidence about Fernandez' ability.
Nate has never been a coach to give too much praise on a player that isn't deserving. Especially a rookie. You have to know that Nate was blown away at what he saw from Rudy in China.
Oden will start. Rudy will get plenty of minutes. Bayless, hmmm, I'm not sure how much he'll play. I'm confident that Rudy will be playing significant minutes this year, and my midseason he may not be starting, but he'll be finishing games with Roy.
Bayless will get his minutes as well. He'll force the coaching staff to play him with the oppurtunities he gets and in practice. He's about as competitive guy as it gets. I'm thinking that the coaching staff is going to have its hands full spreading minutes around in the backcourt.
from what I've seen this summer, Rudy does make some strange passes...maybe its the Euro game....seems like he's on speed when he's playing or something. I guess our "fast-break" lineup would be: Bayless Rudy Roy Outlaw Oden :shivers:
I don't know if this has already been posted, but here is a video of Rudy arriving in Ptd: http://www.ripcityproject.com/2008/09/pair-of-monday-arrivals.html
