...Braun has become a caricature...a cartoon that is not in the least bit funny.

It's just absurd. You didn't have elevated testosterone like that from a cream.

"At that time, I still didn't want to believe that I had used a banned substance,'' Braun said in his statement. "I think a combination of feeling self righteous and having a lot of unjustified anger led me to react the way I did. I felt wronged and attacked, but looking back now, I was the one who was wrong. I am beyond embarrassed that I said what I thought I needed to say to defend my clouded vision of reality. I am just starting the process of trying to understand why I responded the way I did, which I continue to regret. There is no excuse for any of this."

...unfuckingbelievable...if that's the best he can do, I'd rather he not say anything at all. The Brewers fans deserve better.

In a strange way, that's why I have respect for Andy. Not because he's a Yankee, but because he simple said I did it... Guys like Braun, and Clemens and even Arod, somewhere along the ride, fell in love with the guy in the mirror. All they cared about is their money, which to a point they should, But along with that should come the responsibilities that making that kind of money creates. Instead, they live in their world and then add attorneys and this is what you have. By the way, what do you call 10000 attorney's at the bottom of the sea? "A Good Start"!

^^^ another reason for future contracts with language protecting teams from players who are frauds like ARod and Braun taking money on false pretenses.

There definitely needs to be some clause in future contracts that basically says if your fined or suspended for doing ANYTHING illegal we reserve the right to void your contract.

I hope that guy who Braun trashed, accused of impropriety in delivering his test results, and basically got fired raises his hand now and sues the shit out of Ryan Braun. Public sentiment would be on this guy's side 100%, and he has great chane to drag Braun through the mud. My guess is after Braun's admission - this guy has received over 1,000 calls from attorneys just begging to get in on going after Braun.

If I hear his statement read on MLB one more time I may throw a brick through my big screen.

...I also hope he is sued...he's an ass hat that now comes out with a lame assed justification/explanation of what he did and he thinks he's done all he needs to do?...no way. He's still lying his ass off. But wait, according to him, lying is the same thing as "being in denial".
...this big piece of butt custard has been doing PEDs since his college days at Miami.
...as far as returning next year, without his "vitamins" he may never repeat the numbers that got him that fat contract in the first place...even this year his power numbers were down considerably as was his WAR.

...like I've said before, the ONLY thing this POS is the least bit sorry about, is the fact that he got caught.

Those contracts that contain the if your caught doing peds or admit to them after you sign your new contract the signing team has the option to void your contract are coming to a team near you. Thats the only way this steroid crap is ever going to end or at least have the only penalty players care about: their money. Wonder how long it will take till owners make this a standard clause in their contracts.

...the MLBPA would also have to put their seal of approval on that sort of contract language...and they may just do it.
