While we're in the OT section we say some just awful things about each other and our world views so I was thinking about it and there are people I disagree with a lot in here but do I appreciate them for their perspective? I find it makes you take a step back and see what do I like in people. I won't hit on everyone but I'm going to start. @Lanny I appreciate the historical view on Portland you bring, I enjoy your stories of working for Boeing and Tektronics. I have met you and your wife only once and you both seem like great people. @Chris Craig I love your writing on Blazerland, I enjoy your political takes even when I disagree. I also love playing basketball with you. @ABM I love that you are willing to give your opinions even when they don't follow the script of the current zeitgeist. I enjoy many of the articles/things you find online to post on here. @MarAzul I love your boat, your nautical themed posts, and scientific background. You do a great job at saying things that make me think, even when I don't see it your way. @PtldPlatypus @trailblazer18 You two are some of my favorite people on the planet enjoy talking to you guys. This is fantastic, bro. We do need more of this. I mean, I won't contribute because I'm not a sap, but I enjoyed reading it. Seriously though, I love coming to this forum not just because I can talk Blazers or read up on the latest political talking points, but because this is a community of people who are actually willing to interact IRL, and are willing to share things about their real lives with one another. I love hearing about @theprunetang's jobs, I love that @SheedSoNasty comes here to talk honestly about his pending divorce (stay strong, brother!), I love @THE HCP sharing his photography and updates about his kids, I loved it when @UncleCliffy'sDaddy let us in on his huge road trip, I love @crandc telling us about her cats and her dinner parties--these are the things that make this place so much more than just a sports-chat site.
It's a conspiracy against you and I. I say we leave this forum and create a new one. Actually, screw that. I don't care enough to start a new one. How about you leave and create a new one and I'll contemplate joining you? (spoiler: I won't be joining you).

I appreciate TBF for his balance and respectfulness. He has wisdom and he is slow to speak and quick to listen. Plus he's a die hard Quacker!
I think all those of us who are not mentioned are lucky. If I understand it correctly; he believes all those mentioned are idiots and/or trolls; but he tried to find one meager good thing about each of them.
Some folks say I'm good for nothing. But that's not true! I can always be used as a bad example. Other folks claim I'm ignorant and apathetic. Well, I don't know about that......but I don't really care, either.
