He’d be a huge upgrade over Covington. A solid producer who doesn’t require a ton of shots. Always gives max effort.

    Make it happen Cronin!

I honestly haven't seen him play a lot. How is his defense?

This was refuted by probably the best authority on all things Pacers.

Lmao I love seeing O’Connor dunked on. Such a fool.

As for Sabonis, it just depends on what Indy’s plans are. If they’re going full rebuild I don’t see a match. If they still wanna stay competitive then they should have interest in CJ, especially considering the system they run.

I've heard Myles Turner wants out

    Myles Turner
    Domantas Sabonis
    TJ Warren

    For

    CJ McCollum
    Jusuf Nurkic
    Robert Covington
    1 or 2 future firsts

    Then you have

    PG: Dame/Smith Jr
    SG: Powell/Simons/McLemore
    SF: Nas/Warren/Snell
    PF: Sabonis/Nance/Brown
    C: Turner/Zeller

Please, 1 future first at most. Olshey has already mortgaged our future. I don't want to bankrupt it even more.

That said, I like that lineup - at least in theory.

Smith Jr reminds me to a degree of Steve Blake. Nothing spectacular but, in general, solid and doesn't make a ton of mistakes. I don't mind him at all as a backup PG.
Like having Powell moved to SG so he's not so constantly undersized for his position and he strengthens our backcourt defense.
Nas/Warren/Snell seems sufficient but not great. Nas will likely continue to improve but this seems solid - neither overly strong or weak.
Sabonis as PF would be great. Seems like its been years since we had someone I actually thought was better than average (as compared to worse than average)
I think Turner would fit what Billups wants to do better than Nurk.

    Like it.

Let's just swap rosters! They're sick of theirs, we're sick of ours - it'll be a breath of fresh air for both teams.

I'd still like to get him. It would be awesome to win a title with Sabonis and Dame on the roster. Maybe Arvydas would come to watch some games. I'd like that.

    Make it so, Cronin.
