Today, 28th January. The Spurs (31-14) will square off against the Lakers (27-16). The Lakers have won all 2 games of this matchup so far. Starting lineups: Los Angeles Lakers (will Mo Evans be in the starting lineup or Cook)? G - Smush Parker G - Kobe Bryant F - Lamar Odom F - Brian Cook C - Andrew Bynum San Antonio Spurs G - Tony Parker G - Manu Ginobili F - Bruce Bowen F - Tim Duncan C - Fabricio Oberto You can watch it live from ABC 3:30 pm ET. The Lakers will have to play aggressive D and force turnovers. We've won 2 times the Spurs his year. And they have made 19 TO's in both of them. We also have to get Kobe going on early. And he needs to drive to the lane. He was great last time vs the Spurs and many Spurs' guys went to foul trouble. We also need to get our shooter involved and ofcourse, Odom and Bynum. Then, we need to clean the glass well. It was our biggest problem before, I hope that Odom can play like before the injury now and Bynum has had 15 and 16 rebounds in last 2 games. Last time, Tony Parker was on fire. He used his incredible dribbling moves and got many easy buckets. We need Smush's good defense & good helpside D from Odom and Bynum. Another thing is that Bynum can't get into the foul trouble again. He needs to play agressive D against Duncan but no silly fouls on him. I'm always an optimistic. But this time, I think that the Lakers will lose 107-99. I know that it was a pointless thread again, but... YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE GAME !
I seriously hope Bynum doesn't pick up fouls. He'll be buzzing after the monster game he had last and I know he'll go out there and try to block every shot. This could lead to early foul trouble. I hope he just plays his natural game. I think the Spurs will definitely be after us after the upset the last time we played them. It's not going to be an easy game, especially with the extra motivation that they have. However, I believe we have the depth and ability to beat them. The defense played today is going to decide the result of the game. Let's go Lakers!
Smush misses the three, Radman with the o board. Odom misses the three, Duncan grabs the board. Ginobili misses the layup, Bynum gets the foul called against him late call.
Mark Jackson is easily one of my favorite commentators, he's hilarious. "...He [Horry] should've at least given him a token or something, he took him for a ride"
Lamar Odom is absolutely terrible at the free throw line today. He's 4/10. Lakers up 1 with a minute left.
