Four games does not sway my opinion. But, I actually have to commend Aminu for his 1:1 defense on Davis - he did better than could be expected. That said, his help defense was typical (garbage). And yes, he hit shots - but Aminu hitting shots is not a recipe for success. Aminu is a huge reason we're mediocre - he's simply not good enough to be a starter. My saying goodbye to Aminu (and everyone, actually) has nothing to do with this series, and everything to do with his career. I do not change my opinion after 1 game, 10 games, or 20 games (unless it's a rookie).
Aminu would be fine if he was playing Pat's current role. If we get a new coach who understands this, then Aminu can stay.
The thing is, he's cheap and fairly productive. That's more than a lot of other guys can say on this roster. Fuck it though, if the right trade came along I'd trade him; I'm not saying he's untouchable. I just don't think he's really that big of an issue.
