Number 2 in the nation in completions per game. On pace to have the 3rd highest passing yardage in school history. This guy is going to re-write the record books at OSU!

He needs an OL in the worst of ways. My concern with him right now would be his conference leading INT's. OSU hasn't been aggressive at recruiting OL.

Get a decent OL so he has time and his pass game is complemented by a sound rushing attack and you've got a solid QB!

Heck, he's a Freshman and hes getting lots of experience. Yes his TO ratio is bad at times but then again QB, WR, and RB position is weak on this Beaver team. Its a rebuilding year for the Beavs, so its bound to happen. At least the Beavs are looking better than Colorado !!!!

...on a side note, his dad is head coaching the Silverton Silver Foxes to a thrilling, surprising season in the OSAA 5A-2 Mid-Willamette Conference!

That is one of the things that it is very revealing about Mannion in my opinion. His father is a football coach and his grandfather was a football coach. He has the game in his blood. He's a cerebral player that is just going to get better and better during his college career. I think we may have found the guy that will help us beat the Ducks in the next year or two. :pimp:

...I envision him being the best OSU QB since Terry Baker!
