Next year should be an entire new FO staff, coaching staff, and hopefully as many new players as possible. Nicks to New England makes a lot of sense right now. Tuck, Joseph, Kiwi, Jenkins could get some mid-round draft picks. Rolle might be attractive to team looking for a leader in the secondary. This season ended before it started - should have fired Coughlin, Fewell, and Gilbride after last season, but Mara talked tough and ended up doing nothing. This is the least prepared and most poorly coached team I have seen in a long time.
Fire sale trades don't happen in the NFL. The cap is too much of an issue. Not to mention Tuck is clearly finished.
Fire sale trades can happen - a team just needs to be aggressive in making them. Tuck is a bum, bu might get a 6th round pick. The other guys may bring in something better. Season is over - can't act like they can still rebound.
