So for the next 8 days THE HCP is down here in Vegas for the Summer League for NBA Entertainment. ESPN/NBATV will broadcast the "normal" coverage of the games, while we will bring fans at home and on the internet a "Second Screen Experience" The league has us testing new technology and telecast elements to enhance the "ever-evolving media landscapes." Some examples- SpyderCam- Like a SkyCam. Will give you that overhead vide0 game look. Jita Jib- 16 ft jib arm robotic camera. TowerCam-Robotic maneuverable camera mounted under the big screen. Pan-and-Scan Cameras/Pixxelot- 180 degree cameras Ref mics/cams We'll have smartphones throughout the arena shooting fans POV type angles. Our coverage will be on ESPN3. Some, but not all of our show concepts- Popcast-Pop up factoids, stats during the broadcasts. Courtside Experience- Remote operated cameras 10 rows up and multiple cams in new up close locations.
