Get's a nice multi-year which Portland couldn't do. Dallas will be interesting this year. Happy for him and glad he is not a Laker https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27097310/seth-curry-mavs-agree-4-year-32m-deal
Very happy for Seth. Between Hood and Ant, there just wasn't room for him anymore. We owe a lot to him, because he was responsible for 5-8 wins last year with his play off the bench. He deserves a bigger stage than he would ever get here. Like Wes, I hope he does well in Dallas.
Didn't Seth have his best season in Dallas? He rehabs on our dime, and now that he is back to his pre-injury status, the Mavs get him back. Pretty sneaky (and crafty) on their part.
I don't think in a vacuum Seth is worth 8M a year. But on that team, next to Luka, he's a good fit. And at 8M, he's movable, and shooters will always be valued on the market. Good for him. If Simons is half as good as Neil is pumping him up to be I don't think this is a big loss.
Wow I forgot about this.... how much trouble would we be in if the Lakers signed Seth and a few other shooters.
