Rashard Lewis has capped a great start to the season by being named the Western Conference Player of the Week. Lewis led the Sonics to a 2-0 record in the absence of Ray Allen, both over the Clippers in Japan.

    "Shard's week:

Scored 25 points along with four rebounds, three assists and a steal in a 109-100 fist up win over the Clips.

Scored a career best 50 points, with 8 boards and 4 assists in a 124-105 win over the Clips.

This is the second time in his career that Lewis has won this award, following on from last season when he took it out after scoring a then career high 37 over the Wizards. Congrats 'Shard! [IMG]
