If it somehow doesn't cost us Dame, CJ, Caleb or Nurkic. Think about having Dame, CJ and Kyrie. Might be a bit too much, but we'd have the best guard rotation in the league
A) I don't see any package not including any of the big 3 interesting the Cavs; B) I don't see Kyrie being any happier playing alongside Dame than he is playing alongside Lebron. So I'm going to say that it wouldn't make sense and isn't worth consideration.
He's unhappy in Cleveland because he isn't "the man" so why would he be happy here? And frankly I think Dame and CJ are better players.
What have you been smoking bro?! You think Cavs would trade Kyrie, a top 5 pg who is only 25 and has a ring, to the Blazers without giving up Dame, CJ, Nurk, or Swanigan??? Are you nuts man? Maybe the Lakers can trade for Dame without giving up Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, or Julius Randle... how does that sound? Why is shit like this allowed to be posted? Especially starting a new thread for it.
Fuck. No. Irving is leaving Cleveland because he want's "his own team". I'm sure he'd be happy coming off the bench in Portland.
He asked for a trade which lowers his trade value and he doesn't have a no-trade clause or any say on where he's traded
We don't need Kyrie...we need Lebron or Love more...I wouldn't even mind bringing back Channing Frye for Meyers if Frye is still a Cav
All true, but I have no doubt that other teams will be willing to offer much better packages for Irving than anything we'd generate based on the restrictions you set. Hypothetically, what is the best package the Blazers could offer for Kyrie that excludes the 4 you named? Collins, Vonleh, Harkless, and Napier? You honestly don't think the Cavs could get a better offer elsewhere?
Spurs could send Patty Mills and Tony Parker for Kyrie...Miami could send Dragic...they'll get better offers than we will offer unless we swap CJ and I wouldn't do that for him
For example, or replace one of these players with another player they preffer, maybe add a draft pick
