I can’t remember, but have we ever talked about this possibility?

What do you guys think? Too tough for me to answer

My favorite player, so, yes from me, but his time was short so questionable from the team perspective...

I lean towards not retiring his jersey...he just wasn't here long enough nor did he get us deep into the playoffs...plus he retired a Timberwolf after 2 partial seasons there trying to get a last check or two....and he's not been involved with the Blazers at all via media since and I believe only attended one game since retiring here....to me if he's not fond enough to support the franchise then why should the franchise show him that kind of love? He was a great player for a short time.

I don't think it was going to happen under Paul Allen's watch, but if the team sells, maybe... He should be acknowledged in some way.

Nope. I wouldn't retire Sabas, Pippen, or Sheed either.

We have one title. Those guys should be up there. Then Dame and Drexler. Everyone else, meh...

Agreed. Loved him as a player. Hated the drama with him and Z-Bo/Andre Miller.

He did not play long enough for us. If we retire him we need to retire Lamarcus. And I don't know that we should retire Lamacrus.

actually the beef with Andre Miller..(one of my favorite players ever) led to us getting Raymond Felton and shipping Dre out of Portland...we haven't had a lob passer since then

I used to think Aldridge could be our leading scorer of Roy, Oden and Aldridge. But my goodness. I don't know that anyone thought he would by far end up having the best career.

Ya. And the rumor we agreed to not take Kenneth Faried at our pick before Denver took him. We ended up with Nolan Smith who was awful instead. And Felton. Faried and Miller were so much better. I loved Miller too.

Yeah, Oden was supposed to be IT. Roy would help make him unguardable, and Aldridge clean up everything else.

And they could all rebound and play tough D.

If healthy and with a better coach that group should have gotten 4+ rings...

I remember a sideline interview with Nic Batum after a game where he was in a suit and Crabbe was starting for him...he actually said when asked about Alan Crabbe...."y'know, he really reminds me of Brandon Roy".......it was then and there that I realized Nic didn't have great observational skills.

Rick Adelman wore 12....I thought when Lamarcus left we should have retired Adelman's jersey but that was just my personal FU to Lamarcus when he bailed

Bayless too! I loved Bayless and thought he would be a star. He actually carved out a decent little career. I feel like his best year was on the Raptors or something.
