He had a lot of opportunity to pull down boards because the Pistons missed A LOT of shots. They played pitiful tonight.

How do people stop that guy from rebounding. I bet you could put KG, Tim Duncan, and Shaq in the paint, and hed still get the rebound...

He's definitely fun to watch. He works harder than any player in the NBA. He just refuses to give up on a play.

Ben Wallace is the great rubounder but Pistons suck at rebounds.
They are one of the worst teams in the league at rebounds.

Their best rebounder is Ben Wallace (15 rebounds per game) and their second is Cliffy(4.5 rebounds per game)

Last season they were 29th team at rebounds, this season they are 27th.

I think Ben Wallace is a monster but Pistons should get someone who can grab 8 rebounds per game.
They would be much better team.

I agree with you LaBballFan, but they have Memo, whose really halping on boards lately. Also, we had Zelly, but he's out with an irregular heartbeat, so they can't be faulted for that. The fact remains though that we are not a great rebounding team. But realize that we play a slower paced game, so there are less rebound opportunities.

Its not unusual to see Big Ben get 20 boards sometimes. The Pistons lost to the Celts yesterday. I didnt watch the game.

big ben getting 20+ boards is starting to be as common as tmac and kobe scoring 40+ pts.

I doubt that. He's always in position. He knows where the ball is going before anyone else does. Even if everyone was as tenacious, he'd beat them to it. And Okur is a good rebounder too.

He doesn't play as many minutes. If you do it per 48 minutes played, so everyone is equal, it shows he's good. He averages 12.3 boards per 48 minutes. That's better than good rebounders like Dale Davis, Keon Clark, and Kenyon Martin.

Actually, I'd consider them excellent rebounders. Not sure what your point is. And Kenyon is considered a good rebounder by most of the NBA. Whether you or I agree with it doesn't really matter.

You all are surprised like this hasn't been done before. Many people have done it, it's old stuff.
