Which wouldn't work since we have to sign and trade simons after the draft

And yes, I'd happily do that deal. Don't know why toronto would, however.

that would be a dream trade for the Blazers. Adding Siakam and a top-7 pick, possibly top 3, at the cost of just Simons? Yes please

So not really a rumor and you just made it up?
    Okay-
Simons, Bledsoe and the Milwaukie pick for Giannis!
I mean it’s their pick so if they give up Giannis they can tank and make it better.
    Make it happen Joe!

True...so their is no way it couldn't happen if we agreed to draft a player they want and we signed and traded Simons after the draft?

It can, technically. And I know there's always tampering. But what happens if we draft who they want, and then Detroit throws a shit load of money at simons? We have a draftee we don't maybe want?

Yes you included a link of someone giving an opinion and trying to create a rumor. Yes.
I skipped the link and just went straight to rumor.

It is now a rumor that the Blazers are going after Giannis and they are offering Simons, Bledsoe and the Milwaukie pick.

    You heard it here first!

If you want to be disappointed in a player who is grossly over paid, I guess Siakim is your man.

Nothing from inquisitr or fansided is ever anything more substantial than any trade proposal conceived in this forum.

    Thus, I'm changing the label.

No brainer from TORs end with their other players who might be ready to be better than Siakam. Not a slam dunk at all from our end. I would consider it but ultimately not sure if I would do it.

If Dame were to miss any time....who would you want to take over the scoring load?
    Anfernee?
    Or
    Pascal?
I'm running with ya young gun on this one.
    (would love Siakam, though)

The intention is to build a contender. We can't build one without Dame, so what roster would be the best in Dame's absence should not be a consideration. The only thing that matters is what roster would be most likely to contend for a title with a healthy Dame. In that regard, it's Pascal over Simons, easily.

If Dame was to miss any time then what gives? Go back into the lottery. The Blazers needs to find Dame his robin and Siakam just might be that guy.
