I think there's a bit of a difference b/w Oden and other players Canzano/Quick have turned on... For one, the other players have always had some kind of flaw or issue that polarized people. Maybe not many, but there were plenty of people who didn't want to "draft the 'Stache", or those that didn't like Z-bo before things started getting heaped on, or didn't think Jack was a PG, or didn't like that Outlaw is a me-first gunner. All they had to do was post a piece, let those who agreed start becoming vocal, and start the snowball. With Oden, it's different. Aside from the Bowie comparison, I can't think of anyone that doesn't like this guy. It's way tougher to get momentum for something like that. Quick just looks stupid for saying it. I can't think of many people who read that article and say "you know what? Quick's right, and I've been saying it all along. Underwhelming Greg."

I think this is good for Greg. There's only 2 ways to respond: Crawl into a shell and feel sorry for himself or say "Fuck this, fuck you, fuck everybody. I'm gonna crush you all!" An angry Greg can be a good thing for us.
