the stop sign leaving work tonight, like EVERYBODY does EVERY NIGHT. Linn County Sheriff pulls me over. Checks my record, turns out I haven't gotten a ticket in 27 years. Pretty sure my driving record has been clean longer than that deputy has been alive.
Keep em coming I’m lying here at Providence in the worst pain I’ve had in years because I thought I didn’t need much pain medication. Wrong, plus the anti is wearring off.
Hope you get to feeling better HG as I know it took my dad several days before he was felling better when I brought him home from the hospital. It's a tough surgery but I know it made a big difference in my dad's leg but he had also severely damaged back in the 40's when he was a race car owner and got hit by a car out of control and hit him in the infield which caused a compound fracture and that lead to having issues later on requiring knee replacement.
Omg hahahahhaahhaa. This is a late entry into post of the year. Also, that may be the dumbest thing ive ever read. And ive read some dumb stuff.
Thank Cup. Sorry about your pop I had an uncle that help sponser a guy by the name Chuck Joiner who raced at Portland Speedway and others , My dad and I would attend 2-3 races a year there. My uncles name was Carl Morrison and he owned Buxton Rambler way back....He then sold it and bought a dealership in Bend.
Cool. I spent a lot of time out at Portland Speedway as well as the 1/4 mile dirt track at Jantzen Beach when I was a kid. Mike Bliss who began racing in the NW before going to Nascar drove for a friend of my dad's stock car and midget car and his brother Pat Bliss drove for my dad when he owned a midget race car. Mike was such a dominant racer that you knew he would likely make it big time.
Reminds me of something I was told about 20 years ago when I told my grandfather at the age of 10ish. 'But they did it too'. I got the response of. 'If they were jumping off a bridge would you follow them?' Hope you got a ticket tbh.
