Who's your current favourite Sonic(s) Who's your favourite all time Sonic(s)? Favourite Sonics moment this season? Favourite Sonics moment alltime? Predictions for this season? ------------------------------------------- I've been a fan since I started following them in the 92/93 season. I'm actually from Australia, but I catch most of Seattle's games via a Satellite hook-up. My favourite current Sonic would have to be Rashard Lewis. I love his potential and I love his attitude to the game and life; he seems a really humble guy and his work to try to become an All-Star quality player has been great to watch. My favourite all time Sonics are Nate McMillan and Desmond Mason. Although Gary Payton is the franchise player, watching Nate play was a joy for me. He did all the intangibles and was as tough as they come, and had one of the biggest hearts going around, and is rightfully known as Mr Sonic. As for Desmond Mason, I met him last season and he is just a sensational guy and is the epitome of a professional. Does a heaps of work for the community and is adored by everyone who knows him. My favourite Sonics moment this season is Flip Murray's gamewinner. It really made people stand up and take notice of him, and capped off a great last quarter in scintillating fashion. A close second is 'Shard's 50 point game. My favourite all time Sonic moments are games 4 and 5 of the NBA finals, in which Seattle got back into the series before losing Game 6. It showed the growing maturity of a young Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp, who were big in both games. A team that for me should have won a championship in the absence of Jordan for two seasons, this was the closest they got to being the ultimate. As for predictions for the seasons, I'll be the optimist and say we'll make the first round. Seattle will likely be battling for the 7th and 8th seeds with the likes of Phoenix, Houston, GS and it's a toss-up to whether they get there.

The playoffs of 91-92 I believe...'specially the second round series against Utah...mainly cuz I got to go see a couple of those homegames when I was visitin' fam. Plus the Finals against Chicago. Predictions for this season? They can get into the playoffs...just need some consistent play down the stretch.

I've been following the Sonics for nine years now. I started in 1995, the same year I got into sports in general because of the Mariners. My favorite Sonic right now is Nate McMillan. What? That doesn't count? Alright, then, Reggie Evans, since he hustles the most. I like Ridnour, too. Barry would be my favorite if he signed with Seattle again. The all-time favorite is, of course, GP. The man back in the day. Dale Ellis, Fred Brown, Detlef Schremf, and Jack Sikma are also cool. My favorite moment this season would have to be Ray Allen going toe-to-toe with Kobe in Seattle and outbattling the Lakers. A great game. The best all-time moment was in '96, in Utah. Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, and the Sonics come up big. I honestly didn't expect them to beat the Bulls that year, but the fact that they had the chance to was amazing. It will be an interesting season. I predict big changes, and the Supes will have a record hovering around .500.
How long have you been a fan? I've been a fan since the Sonics upset the Golden State Warriors in the '92 playoffs. Who's your current favorite Sonic(s)? Ronald "Flip" Murray. The toughest minded player in the NBA right now (and the game to match). Who's your favorite all time Sonic(s)? Gary Payton (Flip a close second b/c he's still young). He literally willed the Sonics to the postseason in the late 90's and early 21st century. No one was tougher at the point. Favorite Sonics moment this season? Flip's dunk over Zach Randolph when the Sonics still believed they could make the playoffs. Everyone was expecting Ray to get the ball in that crucial possession but Flip put his stamp as the team's best clutch player (hell, team's best player) with that emphatic finish. Favorite Sonics moment all time? Gary Payton calling out Karl Malone during the 2000 playoffs after the Sonics secured a game four victory. It was hilarious seeing Vin Baker trying to break up two of the toughest players in the game. (Close second--Rex Chapman's incredible three pointer to force overtime in the 1997 playoffs. The Sonics won the game despite Chapman's heroics.) Predictions for this season? Depending on what personnel moves are made this summer, I see the Sonics fighting for the final two playoffs positions and ultimately losing to whoever they face in the first round.
How long have you been a fan? Since I moved to Bellingham WA.. Which was about 5 years ago Who's your current favourite Sonic(s) Flip by far. Saw him play in a Sonics "exhibition game" they held at my college (WWU) and was immediately impressed. Told all my buddies this guy was gonna be huge :] Who's your favourite all time Sonic(s)? Kemp in his prime was so fun to watch. Ditto GP and Dale Ellis. Favourite Sonics moment this season? So many from Murray.. I think the buzzer beater over Spree against Minnesota has to take it. It was like a wake-up call to the rest of the NBA Favourite Sonics moment alltime? Don't really know.. I do have to say Ray lighting up the Lakers was amazingly fun to watch Predictions for this season? Sadly, because we're stuck with the "three-headed monster" at the Center spot, I think we're (sigh) again, going nowhere and nowhere fast.

How long have you been a fan? I been a fan since the '94 - '95 season. So that is ten years. Who's your current favourite Sonic(s) Ray Allen Who's your favourite all time Sonic(s)? Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton Favourite Sonics moment this season? Tell you the truth, there's not a lot of moments that stand out this year. I guess when Flip took the league by storm the first month or so. Favourite Sonics moment alltime? When the Sonics made the NBA Finals. I was so pumped. I was there when Shawn Kemp sat on Rodman's shoulder. I'll never forget that. I was also at the NBA Finals game when it was Sam Perkin's birthday. Though he's one of my all time favorite Sonic players, I was there when Kemp made his first appearence at the Key when he was a Cav. Everytime he touched the ball everyone booed him. It give me good memories when the Sonics was one of the league's domianted teams. Predictions for this season? I know you guys don't want to hear this, but I don't think Sonics will make the Playoffs. They'll be in like a eight place race like this year with Blazers, Nuggets, and Jazz but they'll be like their Northwest counterpart and fail to miss the post season.
