    Welcome to Sports Two!

    We here at Sports Two are pretty relaxed, but there are something’s you should know about before you start posting, or when you are posting. These are the forum rules which can be located here or below. If you are unsure of anything please don’t hesitate to contact a Sports Two Staff Member. Before you start posting on your favourite forum, be sure your language is correct and make sure not to bash others.

    Sports Two Rules

    1. All posters with honorable intentions are welcome.

    2. This is a big site with a lot of members. You may not like every one of them. However, we expect everyone to at least respect each other.

    3. Respect the moderators, global moderators, producers, commissioners, admins, and other staff members of SportsTwo.

    4. Flame wars are not allowed. We do tolerate poking fun of one another in good fun, but hateful posts towards another poster are not allowed.

    5. Trash talk is allowed. It's one thing to call Portland's NBA team the "Jailblazers" and another to call their fans idiots. The former is allowed, the latter is not.

    6. SportsTwo is to be a work-friendly and family-friendly site. While there is no blanket rule on how to enforce this, it is completely the discretion of SportsTwo staff to enforce this rule and how to enforce it.

    7. Everyone is here to offer their opinions, so be prepared to have people disagree with your opinions. There is a difference between attacking someone's post (their opinion) and attacking the poster with the latter not allowed. The staff is here to monitor for such occurrences.

    8. Users who have multiple accounts will be publicly identified.

    9. We can't anticipate all of the things the staff may find unacceptable. Again, it is completely the discretion of SportsTwo staff to enforce any unwritten policies they deem fit, and you are expected to abide by these judgments.

    10. The staff is here to be of service any way we can. If you have questions or need help with anything, feel free to PM a mod, GM, Producer, Commissioner, or an Admin.

    11. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.

    Staff

    The staff members of Sports Two can be located HERE. There are five groups of staff located on the forums which are:

    Blue: Administrators: The Administrators run the forum and look over everything.

    Orange: Commissioners: Commissioners are assistant Administrators and run a section or two each; this includes disputes and other problems that may arise, Commissioners also run the staff of their particular forum as well as look at changed that may need to be addressed. They also make sure that their forum/s runs smoothly.

    Purple: Producers: Producers are one step below Commissioners, they run a section or two if a Commissioners or Administrator isn’t assigned to that section with them, they handle any disputes or problems that may arise as well as making sure the section staff and forum is running correctly.

    Green: Global Moderators: Global Moderators are assigned to two or more forums in a section or two, any situations that may arise with posts Global Moderators are able to handle. If you have any issues with a post in their forum please send a private message too them.

    Red: Moderators: Moderators are usually assigned from 1-2 forums in one section, the job of a moderator is to encourage members to posts as well as keeping a good eye on their forums they moderate.

    Most Staff Members are online at least once a day, so your response will almost always be swift.


    Additional Usergroups:

    Writing Team: Currently the Writing Team write articles for the Content and for selected forums for Sports Two. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Writing Team please Private Message the Producer or Commissioner of the Writing Section.

    How to become a Moderator

    There is no official system concerning hiring moderators, and most of the time, this is decided by administrators only. Independently-run communities (such as the Blazer Forums) have their own methods, and moderators for these sections are hired by their specific administrators/managers.

    The moderators of SportsTwo are held to high standards and are here to support the community while keeping it clean and fresh. Moderators are expected to be mature at all times, and are the best people to contact with any questions you may have.

    To become a moderator, you must display respect for the rules and be an active contributor to the community. You may also become a moderator by requesting to bring your community to SportsTwo.
