Tonight is the beginning of a brand new era in Blazer basketball. We've waited a long time for this season to begin, and we've put up with a lot of grief and frustration to get to this point. But with Oden now healthy, it's a brand new chapter for us. We are back on the NBA map again!!!

There will be lots of media coverage, and lots of discussion, and our young nucleus is going to be the envy of every GM and every NBA fan. We're back in the spotlight, and teams will be waiting for us, starting tonight in LA. But the best part is, we will be in every game this season. I firmly believe that. Every game will be competitive. There will be no blowouts.

We've got the talent, the depth, and the coaching to play with anyone, and I mean, ANYONE.

I'm jumping up and down right now. Can't wait to see Oden and the guys perform in LA. I haven't been able to see a single pre-season game, only highlights. So tonight it's the real deal.

This is the beginning of many good things to come. It's just going to get better and better.

Can you stand the excitement!?? Go Blazers!!!!

God your propaganda is killing me. lol

However, I do appreciate your love for the blazers, and your posts about them.

So I ask this question, is there a way to ignore one's signature w/o ignoring the poster? In fact, I wouldnt mind removing all signatures from my "view". :sigh:

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.

You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

    --Abraham Lincoln

Sorry about that SHOOTER, I copied the wrong post. I agree with your sig SHOOTER.

Gator, Gator, Gator, well and Shooter too....
You'll believe anything then? Even if erroneously credited as a quote by A. Lincoln?

Your quotation was actually written by William J. H. Boetcker (1873-1962) in 1916.
Pointed at here at this link, among others:

    http://books.google.com/books?id=4n...&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=9&ct=result

    or here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_J._H._Boetcker

And furthermore alot of those quotes are double talk and do not relate to this election, quit with the smears in the sig's it not needed..

Plus I love how you only pull 6 of the 10 from the list to further your right-wing propoganda. The funny thing is you left one out that is rather hypocritical to your cause.

"You cannot establish security on borrowed money." -- Cough, isn't that what the USA is 'attempting' to do right now?

    Yours truly,
