He was already my favorite non-Blazer before the playoffs but he is solidifying the Warriors as my 2nd favorite team. He is so much fun to watch especially when he gets hot. I fully expected that half court shot to go in at the end of the quarter last night. I really really hope he can stay healthy.
We'd also have to throw in a player to be named later (perhaps a 3rd string stretch 4) and future considerations to get that deal done.
Golden State fans have to be torn. They're no doubt enjoying this moment, but they must be aware that God gives them these moments (like the victory over Dallas in the first round where Baron Davis was briefly the best player on the planet) only because the rest of the time he's crapping on the franchise. (Cue ominous musing, and camera slowly pans in closer and closer on Curry's ankles. And Bogut's.)
Only if their inside information said that he was damaged goods for life. Even then they would ask for the world.
Love watching him play! I was wrong about him though. Thought there was no way this kid from a small college who happened to have a good run in the Tourney(like many before him) was going to end up this good. Just worried about his jello ankles. He tweaks them just by sneezing!
I just keep thinking how Kahn could have a backcourt of (Brandon Jennings or Jrue Holiday) and Curry right now with Ty Lawson coming off the bench...that, combined with giving Love a 5yr max, he might still have a job.
He still has a job according to him. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/227405/Kahn-Hasnt-Met-With-Taylor-About-Future-With-Wolves
We can't all be blessed with Portland's myriad first round playoff exits to quell our expectations and adequately prepare us for the disappointment of our players' inevitable knee collapses. I've never come across a fan base so incredibly jealous of whatever golden boy has the spot light at any given time.
I'm loving the Warriors and I loved them in 2007 too. I still remember Matt Barnes crying after Baron dunked on AK. Great moment.
