    Key Match up
    [IMG][IMG]Nick Van Exel/Stephon Marbury
Marbury is the leader of this team...they go as far as he takes them. This should be a great match up. The young quick athletic Marbury vs. the crafty sharp-shooting veteran Nick Van Exel.

    Warriors
The Warriors are currently on a 5 game home stand and they have taken full advantage thus far winning the first 2. This will be a big test for the Warriors. I think the biggest match-up problem for the Warriors will be Dunleavy/Marrion. It is key that Dunleavy keeps Marion in check; make him shoot it from the outside because Marion is deadly around the basket. Dampier has the advantage at the Center position. If he continues his dominance in the paint the Warriors should have a shot in this one.

    Suns
The Suns have suffered a few tough loses in this early season. They are below the .500 mark and are trying to even out their record to 3-3. They definately have the athletism that the Warriors lack. They need to use it to their advantage. If Marbury has an off night the Suns could be in trouble.

    Rudeezy's take
The Warriors have already proved that the are a tough team that could win on any given night. The Suns have lost some tough games that they arguably should have won. I have to give the Suns the advantage in this one but not by far. I see this game coming down to the wire. Suns by 3.

The unlikely heroes for the Phoenix Suns were Joe Johnson and Casey Jacobsen.

Johnson scored a season-high 22 points and Jacobsen added 12 off the bench as the Suns picked up their first road win with a 99-96 triumph over the Golden State Warriors.

With Phoenix frontcourt starters Shawn Marion and Amar? Stoudemire having relatively quiet nights, the Suns got some added firepower from a pair of guards. Johnson made 10-of-21 shots and added season highs of nine rebounds and seven assists while Jacobsen fell two points shy of his season total.

Johnson nailed a runner with 1:53 left to give Phoenix a 97-92 lead and Marion added a basket 23 seconds later for a seven-point cushion. Mike Dunleavy Jr. responded with a jumper for Golden State and Brian Cardinal added two foul shots with 44 seconds to go.

The Suns ran the shot clock down and Penny Hardaway missed a contested shot, giving the Warriors one final chance. After a timeout by Golden State coach Eric Musselman, Nick Van Exel dribbled to the right side and airballed a three-pointer over Hardaway as time expired.

Jason Richardson led Golden State with 22 points before leaving with a left ankle sprain with 3:29 left. Cardinal netted a career-high 17 points, mixing it up inside with Stoudemire and Marion.
