Lakers just sign Lou Williams and I'm sure they want to give as much playing time to Jordan clarkson as possible. This would be a good trade for us. He's would provide 18pts a game value wise this guy is earning 5 mill per year. Freaking Danny green got 9 mill. Middletons getting 14 mill per year! Crazy money Jodie Meeks make 7 mill per year. I can hear all the hate but when you think about value wise this is a great move. Dame/CJ at the PG won't have to sign another PG. swaggy p and hendo is a good 1-2 punch.
I don't want to hear about tanking! We got more than a handful of young hungry talented bigs already. This guy is a Bonafide scorer 18 pts per game at 5 million is insanely good value nowadays. Somebody mentioned DeRozen as a possible trade. We kind of are built like the Raptors Allstar PG and a lot of young talented hustle guys. Swaggy P can be our DeRozen. Surround Dame with the right set of young hungry guys and allow Dame to take his game to the next level. In Dame we trust!
Oh god no. Swaggy P would be horrible here. He's a selfish ball hog. He's lazy and has a poor work ethic. I wouldn't sign him for the minimum.
That's what coaching is for have him and hendo battle for the starting 2 guard. Whoever slacks have CJ steal some 2 guard minutes.
So when Swaggy P loses the battle and CJ gets the backup minutes what kind of attitude do you think he'll have? He thinks he one of the best scores in the NBA. How helpful will he be to the other players when they take his minutes? His teams have never made the playoffs. I'm sorry Wahdeezy but this is a horrible idea. Kaman has a great attitude. Maybe your just joking around if so nicely done.
If CJ can beat out swaggy P then that would be awesome. Then that means he earn it and is playing at a high level. I don't believe in spoon feeding minutes to cj or vonleh. Our only hope is to develop the young guys that we have and if CJ can't beat out Swaggy P then he might end up being a poor mans George Hill on a tanking lottery team.
Lakers want to get out of Nick Youngs contract bad. Id rather not help the lakers out especially when the player we get is a wannabe jamal crawford but not nearly as good.
Dude seems like a douche but thats probably cause he lives in L.A. could be a test of lillards leadership. Maybe he pulls a roy and says mature up, this is my team.
Lakers are looking to dump salary so they 'll need a player(s) with a non guaranteed contract or a team to absorb swaggy p contract.
He would be a great tank commander but in no way do I want him having anything to do with our franchise. I think I read somewhere that every player on the Lakers started last year with the exception of Young.
I wish people wouldn't title a thread to make it sound like it already happened. "Michael Jordan coming out of retirement to help Blazers" Should he do it? I think, even at his age, he could still put up 20 and 5 assists!
