Rose and Noah are gone to NY, Deng is in LA, Watson is on the Magic, Boozer isn't in the league...

    Time is a bitch huh?

And looks like he'll still be coming off the bench. :)

That being said, Taj is an essential piece to the Bulls making a semi-serious run this year.

Taj is such a team player that he will never complain about being a starter, nor his role, tough, and a warrior give it all his got on the court. This year could be the last we may see him in the Bulls uniform, or I should say this coming season could be his last in the Bulls uniform since he will be a free agent next summer. Must respect, and a likable player.

He'll end up with the Knicks.

Various reports from earlier this week suggest he was close to being traded to Toronto for Ross.

My instincts tell me that Taj stays. Then again, those instincts sure as hell didn't see either of the Rondo or Wade acquisitions coming.

Yeah as much as I can visualize him with Noah and Rose in New York, if they're not a great team, maybe Taj will say fuck it, I should stay here.

I'd be alright with that. He had a 50 point game in his second season, he probably has some unlocked potential, Wade could help Ross immensely.

Last I looked, Gibson's signed through the 2016-17 season, so what he says doesn't matter much.

As the roster stands right now, the Bulls need Gibson. They have lots of scorers, but few bigs who can do the dirty work like Gibson can. To use K4E's terminology, the Bulls are clearly in "win now" mode and Gibson's a win now big at a reasonable price.

Looks more like a softish landing instead of a crash landing.

Serious talks? If so, Bulls fans been talking about that trade for a couple of years now.

I think that is where he will end up too not only just because his old friends, and his former teammates are there but also he is from New York I could see him end up either there, or the Wolves to have a reunion with Thibs.

I will hate that trade for the Bulls Ross is not worth Taj Gibson now if they include at least a first rounder, Powell then I may consider. While Ross is athletic and maybe could be useful more than Snell but he isn't worth trading Taj Gibson if that is the deal.

I get the sense that most feel a Gibson trade is inevitable. Why?
