SINS San Antonio - Won! Indiana - Lost New Orleans - Won! Sacramento - Didn't Play Portland - Lost! Tankathon Standings (before tonight's games)
that stupid stretch when they won 6 of 8 is really shafting their lottery mojo. If they would have just gone their normal 3-5 instead of 6-2 they'd be in 5th place right now. 5th place has a 40% chance of a top-4 pick
It could get ugly pretty fast from here on out. There is a very good chance we win only 1 game in February (Orlando at home this Tuesday). We would go 1-9 in February which would leave us at 22-41. Also a very good chance we start March 0-4, which would leave us at 22-45. The tank could get REAL.
Top 3 consensus guys could start for most teams, including the Blazers. The Blazers could get a starting SF (Griffin) possibly at their current spot if they don't jump into the top 3. This seems to be a good draft for SGs if they wanted to draft for talent and not position. Johnny Davis from Wisconsin is a dude I'd take on talent alone if available.
Giannis wasn't an instant impact on the Bucks yet is currently the best player in the league and of course a champion. Why in the world are you suggesting that instant gratification should be the standard? STOMP
An interesting question, as well as relevant. However, not the end all. The higher the pick, the more trade value it has. If we get a high enough pick, we might be able to trade it for someone like Norman Powell,..... oh wait!
People claim the draft is weak damn near every year. And every year, there are multiple players who get drafted below where they should’ve been drafted in the “redraft”. Weak draft is bullshit.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nb...s/2020-nba-draft-class-weak-people-say-it?amp A decent article explaining how virtually no draft since 2000 has been “weak”, it’s just “harder to predict” who is good.
Yep it is too early to know about this draft. Players will emerge in the tourney and we don't really know about all the international players.
Baby Ja is in this draft, I’d absolutely love to see Ivey and Simons together, I really think drafting BPA in the top 5-7 instead of drafting for need is the best course of action. Drafting for need that high leads to shit like drafting Bowie over Jordan.
