ESPN just reported that you guys have aquired the 7th overall pick and Dan Dikau from the Blazers in exchange for Sebastian Telfair. Now..since you guys really want Adam Morrison how about # 4 and 7 for # 1?
Source Outstanding trade by the Blazers to land another lottery pick for Telfair. They have a lot of options now, and should be able to acquire even more assets with three 1st round picks, and an early 2nd. I expect them to package a deal to unload Darius Miles or Z-Bo now.

That was a pretty big ripoff Portland just did. I thought that the Celtics were going to try and develop Orien Greene and Delonte West. I guess they have now a third project.

Ratliff's deal is set to expire faster, and will give them a nice expiring contract to dangle or to include him in the Iverson deal to absorb some of Iverson's contract? Fair trade by both teams assuming Portland drafts wisely.
This was an amazing deal by the Blazers because now they get another lottery pick and they have a young talented point guard that can start right away in Telfair's place in Jarret Jack. He can perform just as good as Bassy and this could be the start of a drastic turnaround for the Blazers' organization. I think Ha Seung Jin should be on the banner, by the way.

I don't think they "gave up" on Telfair, it's just that that's who Ainge wanted, as he's been known to be a huge Telfair guy since he came out of high school. The deal still gets done if Ainge asks for Jack instead of Sebastian. 2) Ha should be on the banner.
