Tevez has submitted a written transfer request which has been rejected by the club.

Various reports read that he is unhappy with life in England and is feeling homesick. He recently told the media that he is unhappy with football and the people within the sport and hinted that he would be making an early retirement.

Tevez's agent has been pushing for the club to improve his playing contract. He is currently the highest paid player at City.

For extra lulz, here is a video from seven days ago. Tevez pledges his future to the club -- Taken from the official City site.

Strange that a team of overpaid mercenaries haphazardly thrown together doesn't have good chemistry.

This is my team, and seeing Tevez go would be shitty. But, he is a bit of a baby. Still, GO MAN CITY!!!

Seems like there could be something else going on behind-the-scenes:

Carlos Tevez has insisted he will leave Manchester City because his relations with "certain executives" at the club have "broken down beyond repair".

City have made the decision not to sell Tevez during the winter break after talks with owner Sheikh Mansour.

City have claimed that they have done everything they can to help Tevez with his 'personal issues'. If Tevez refuses to play or retires before the summer, City will look for compensation.

Carlos' is tied to the club until 2014 in a contract worth tens of millions.

Tevez is seeking a move to Italy or Spain which completely rubbishes his 'homesickness'. If his family can move to mainland Europe, why can't they move to England? It only costs a 20-quid boat ride.

what fuckin baby this guy is. He has quite a history of doing this for all clubs he plays for, he ends up leaving on bad terms. Once wished he played for us, now very glad he didn't. This only the beginning for city. Balotelli is another shithead that will soon asked to be sold if they don't win anything. Its seems City has a magnet for buying these idiots and yet they did not learn from the robinho transfer.

Troubled Carlos Tevez is a tragic waste of talent

    ^LMAO!

Still, he's doing this at the worst time; I do agree.

I still think we can make a push if Tevez can just play the game. He's got the talent but his mind his elsewhere. Ego the size of fucking Texas.

I don't even thinks he has a big ego. I would feel like shit if I played for City too.

C'mon Ronan, just because Arsenal has been in the top league since 1920 and City since 2003 doesn't mean Arsenal is superior.
