Arsenal have released several players including Abou Diaby, Miyaichi Ryo, Jack Jebb, and others.

Diaby, 29, has had an injury-plagued career, appearing in 124 games for Arsenal in the last ten seasons, with only one appearance in the final two. Manager Arsene Wenger had high hopes for Diaby, comparing him to Patrick Vieira when he first started with the club, likening his box-to-box skill to the former French national.

Ryodinho was never able to get into the first team for more than a few games at a time. The 22-year old has had five loan spells since joining Arsenal in 2011. He has had two caps for the Japanese senior club. With players like Serge Gnabry and Alexis Sanchez coming into the team it was always going to be a struggle for the winger to find a place.
