The Lakers want another 1st round pick. What would you want from them for one of the Blazers'?

I would seriously consider Julius Randle. Kid is 22 years old and the Lakers seem willing to deal him. Throw Leonard in with the trade, Meyers would go over well in Hollywood with his looks.

    I'd trade 15 or 20 for Randle.

Same exact thing I was thinking. Or maybe we can convince them to take 15/26.

Edit: read it wrong. But I'd give up 15 and 26 for randle.

Yeah, Randle's an easy answer. I don't see them giving him up for a single pick. Two might be a different story...

I'd do 26 for Nance or Zubac as well.

Problem is Randle is due for a big extension next summer just like Nurk - how do you pay these guys?

You trade crabbe and Harkless. Davis and Aminu are free agents after next summer as well aren't they?

They probably want another pick to go after PG.

He'd be a perfect fit next to Nurkic.

How about Vonleh and one of our firsts?

same way you'd have to pay Paul George or Kevin Love....you pay them...although Randle isn't getting Paul George money anytime soon

yeah, but PA is not going THAT FAR over the cap to sign Nurk and Randle, would have to do some serious moving of overpaid guys and that's not all that easy

Paul Allen can throw that kind of money at an experimental airplane project...I don't think folks know what kind of fuck you money the guy has....if he wants a guy...he can pay him whatever is necessary and Olshey has repeated that money is never an issue with Paul

next to Nurk, Vonleh really started coming into his own as a PF without being a small center...he's 22...knows the team and playbook...he can shoot with range if we'd ever run a play for him and he's an underrated defender.....losing a top pick and Vonleh for Randle doesn't float my boat

I disagree. Randle had four triple-doubles last year.

I think Clarkson would be cool if we could package Meyers+26 for him. Would be a good 6th man.
