Rebooting classic series is quite the popular thing to do these days — and now it's time for The Munsters to get a 21st century remake.

The 1960s comedy about a family of sweet and harmless monsters is making its way back to screens thanks to Seth Meyers and NBC, according to Deadline.

The new version, which chat show host Meyers is working on with Odd Mom Out creator Jill Kargman, will follow the original's format as a half-hour sitcom—and it has a pretty edgy twist.

There have been a few attempts already, movies and TV. They all sucked.
