Leonard was a good kid and from most all accounts a good teammate. Unfortunately his basketball instincts were lacking as he relied on his size and athleticism. Good luck in Miami Myers.
I am actually gonna miss him. Sounded like he was a good guy and leader in the locker room. But roster-wise it totally makes sense.
Definitely will miss Meyers, who was a harder worker and a good locker room guy. And I always liked watching his wife's shooting videos on Twitter.
Always enjoyed his good games, good guy, good teammate - and enough special games to get a deal that he could not live up to on a consistent basis. Good for him - wish him luck and will always be a fan of him. Do I wish he was better when he was in Portland? Sure. But, I always appreciated how he worked hard and was a good teammate.
Sad to see him go before he had a statement season with the Blazers, but all praise to his work ethic to claw out of the cesspit of vitriol he was thrown into. Thanks for all the years, and some damn exciting WCF performances. Success in Miami, hope to see him back eventually.
7 seasons and 393 games as a Blazer. That puts Leonard as number 23 on the all-time Blazer career list. I hope he does well for Miami. Good character guy that always spoke well of the Blazers and the city.
Thank you Meyers. Wish you well in Miami. Hope you break out and become the player we wanted you to be here in Portland. Fantastic job in that last game by the way. May the Legend of Swish3 and Hammer live on!
