I think it is more than homelessness, but clearly it's all connected: poor leadership, businesses pulling out all over the place, trash, traffic, fucked up downtown, late night is now 9pm, fucking graffiti, shitty cops, drugs drugs drugs, stupid developments, high property taxes, etc etc...and yet houses/property still cost a fuck-ton here. I've loved this city until recently, so I get the good stuff too. The scales are just majorly tipping. Maybe we are primed to be taken advantage of by billionaires. It does kinda have that post-war, apocalyptic feel these days...haha.
