    Gilbert Arenas's Stats

    2003-04 Statistics
    PPG 20.4
    RPG 4.9
    APG 6.1
    SPG 1.70
    BPG .30
    FG% .416
    FT% .750
    3P% .286
    MPG 37.4

Look what gilbert is doing this year for the wizards(and these stats are not including the 25 pts he had tonight.) His stats say wat need to be said. The warriors should have not let him go because he wasn't only their point guard who kept everybody happy but he was a team leader and floor general also. Thats what the warriors are lacking right now and what they need desperatly.

The Wizards record isn't any better than the Warriors right now and they are playing in the East. Would the Warriors be a better team with Arenas? Of coarse. But they have two good point guards who have already proven themselves in the clutch.

Good points Rudeezy. Also, the Warriors DID want to keep Arenas. Most (or all) of the fans feel that it was stupid on the part of owner Chris Cohan not to agree to give Arenas financial security by guaranteeing a large contract after this year. But they did well to replace him by getting Van Exel and Claxton. When the Warriors are all healthy, I think that there will be less talk about how the Warriors should have kept Gilbert.
