Seeing as how 3 out of our 5 Starters are former Golden State Warriors and have played together before, how do you think they will gel the rest of the season. To start the season they all look good, but Hughes has been struggling with his shot. Do you think this will help the Wizards or hurt them in the long run..and on a side note..how many Warrior fans who cheered them (these 3 players) in Golden State still cheer for them?

It can't hurt that these guys already played together. Every player has certain tendencies on the court and it takes a while for a teamate to start realizing what and when his teamates are going to do certain things. I do think it might hurt the other guys that aren't as familar with the ex-warriors. They might start to get excluded because Arenas might feel more comfortable with the guys he knows better. But these guys are pros, and I don't see that as a major problem. I think these guys will ride this chemistry all the way into the playoffs turning some heads on the way.

I was the first warrior fan to convert, saying from day one that Hughes, Arenas and Jamison woulda been good in Golden State... but instead we let Hughes walk and kept Richardson.... go WIZARRIORS!!!!!

Lol I like that, Wizarriors...thats pretty good.

I dont think Hughes was happy in GS, and I think he would of caused problems, thats why they let him walk.

I think that the conversion of the Warriors players reuniting in Washington will really be the key to the Wiz's success in the future. Right now they have 2 of the 3 players who where the keys in the Warriors almost making the playoffs a couple seasons ago before things broke down. I think Larry Hughs is the sort of streaky player who you can not really rely on every night to go out and score for you he is just not a consistant player by any means.
