The OL - They played well against Washington. Kosier's return was huge. As was the return of Romo. But we need to see this level of play every week. This can't be an aberration. Spencer versus Ellis - Ellis hasn't put pressure on the QB this season. His coverage is awful, and he isn't all that great against the run. Spencer has been dinged up this season, but provides more athleticism. Wade said heading into this week, Spencer would get more playing time on 1st and 2nd downs. Let's see if that actually materializes. CB- Newman is set. Jones could come back. But where art thou Henry? He either got hurt or was benched in the Washington game. And the coverage tightened up immediately after he left the game. Did you notice how much man 2 man we played? And more importantly, how tight the coverages were? Getting Newman back was key. Santana was a non factor. Scandrick and Jenkins have both outplayed Henry this season. Let's see if the playing time will reflect that down the stretch. Special Teams - The kickoff coverage has to get better. Some of it is Folk; his kickoffs aren't great. Some of it is woeful special teams wedge busting. A lot of it is poor coaching. Romo - That pinky affected the way he threw some. On that first INT, he double pumped. After the game, he said he doubled pumped because he didn't have complete control over the ball. This is going to be a problem for awhile. It was a poor throw. But the offense was moving the ball, we scored when we needed to, and Romo delivered once again. The run game - Its been stagnant since Romo and Jones went down. Romo comes back (and Kosier), and suddenly, the run game is better. It should improve even more so when we get Felix back.
