Event This site is getting worse.

Sides have been chosen and very few people are willing to actually discuss anything. Just incite the other side. I have been an instigator in the past too, so I also deserve blame. It’s just gotten so dreary and devoid of listening. I still check the site often but read a couple posts and just shut it off. I hope it improves. I miss what this place was.

The OT section sucks for sure. Basketball section is fine. I think it’s just people and their identity politics. I mean shit, you come on here every day and there are at least three new threads devoted to some shit that’s not news regarding trump. I’m tired of hearing about the guy. If you don’t like him, yeah cool I don’t either but I’m not gonna devote time to something that isn’t news. From time to time I come on here and give an opinion like I am now but for the most part I look every day and just bounce because it’s not even worth it. It’s become a forum for the oldies to talk about their politics. No disrespect but it’s true. We also have some younger people who are just so wrapped up in their party that they say ridiculous shit and they all get together and decide what is alt right and racist and bad. Then if you’re not on the trump hate train as I am and a few others, we all are labeled as trump defenders and all that nonsense. Good times.

 

If you saw an asteroid headed for out planet and it was large enough that you didn't know if we had the technology to save ourselves you'd be talking plenty. Now, imagine Trump is that asteroid.

 

But he’s not. He’s just a bad president that will likely be gone in a year. Matter of fact, I find it funny some in here are more worried about this president then a lot more important things in the world. Literally freak out over everything he says. It’s not that serious. I try to tell people that here and that makes me a trump defender for some odd reason.

 

I can see it, but I have read enough "older" thread to know that it hasn't really changed, but the rhetoric has gotten more extreme. "Be the change that you wish to see" ~Ghandi.

 

I think there are plenty of others who find Trump extremely detrimental to not only Americans but others who have to share this planet much like the impending doom of an asteroid.

 

I think the worst part about the site is when people complain about how bad the site is.
