A.L. CF rankings- min 400 PA (currently)

    Jacoby Ellsbury
1st in SB (38 with only 5 CS) 12 more than the closest CF
    3rd in HRs
    3rd in RBI
    3rd in SLG%
    3rd in OPS
    3rd in Total Bases
    5th in BA
    5th in OBP
Strikes out fewer times than 6 of the CF listed (min 400 PA)

    Defensively:
    3 assists, 1 error
    Fielding % .997, league avg .989
RF (range factor) per 9 inn 2.78, league avg 2.69
RF per game 2.72, league avg also 2.69
He has better numbers than the league average in fielding % and range.

Mike Trout (obviously) and Adam Jones are regarded as two of the best/better CFs in the league and currently ARE leading in the power/run producing stats,

    Defensively:

    Trout
    4 assists and 2 errors
    fielding % .994 league avg .989
RF per 9 inn 2.60, league avg 2.69
RF per game 2.59, league avg 2.69

    Adam Jones
    7 assists and 6 errors
    fielding % .983
    RF per 9 inn 2.49
    RF per game 2.41

And Ellsbury is tied for 5th in "WAR" amoung A.L. CFers. ? lol

Laughable, are they using the same stats we use on planet earth?
In any case, Mr. Ellsbury is doing pretty darn good for himself so far as Yankee.
