http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...s_for_clippers/They signed him to a 4 year deal worth 24 million. I dont really think hes worth that much anymore though. I cant imagine him staying w/ a team for 4 years anymore to lol
Nice job Tim. What was all that "I fit in here" sh*t about? lol Damn this loss hurts, but hopefully they can get some good free agents now. It frees up some money. I'm thinking Harpring and someone else...maybe Lindsey Hunter, yipee! Waiting on Amare now.
It was bound to happen, I personally hate Tim Thomas' bi*ch ass, but come next season, we will see next to nothing from him in LA
God I hate Tim Thomas. He is a waste of talent, and he only shows up in contract years. Watch him to do basically nothing in LA. Loser..
That is a loss for Phoenix but with Amare coming back he really isn't needed. Tim Thomas at center though was effective against Dallas.
Well I guess Phoenix will start with a lineup like this next year without Thomas. StoudemireDiawMarionBell Nash. That is still a great lineup if Stoudemire is close to 100%
I think the Clippers line-up will be as follows:C- Chris KamanPF- Elton BrandSF- Tim ThomasSG- Cuttino MobleyPG- Sam CassellI think Tim will start instead of Corey Maggette because there's no telling when Corey can play well and when he will be injured. He has chronic injuries these days.
You're most likely right. Corey may start first but his chronic injuries will start up again and BOOM! Tim Thomas will become a starter.
The reason Thomas looked so damn good last year was because he is a product of Phoenix's system. They run, shoot, and run some more. His numbers are inflated and skewed. No way he gets numbers like this in Clipperland. Plus like those before me mentioned, he only plays when it will effect his pay day.

Well, if Tim receives a starting spot, I guarantee at least 15-16 ppg and about 5-6 rpg.Okay.. Maybe I don't guarantee that, but I'm hoping it works out.
15-16 ppg? LMAO. Tim doesn't have any work ethic, and all he can do is shoot the ball. He wont get the same looks in LA, as he did in Phoenix. He's lucky that Phoenix game him a shot, or else he wouldnt have gotten a contract this big at all.
Even though Thomas has shown to be lasy in the past, maybe his time in Phoenix will have gotten him hungry to contribute and play basketball. His shooting should be a good fit with the Clippers, as it will give Brand more room down low to work with. I doubt he will average 15-16 points per game, but his impact should be good on offense for the Clippers.
