The Detroit Tigers announced their one-year deal with veteran outfielder Magglio Ordonez on Friday. The team did not specify terms, but a baseball source told ESPN.com that the contract is for $10 million. Ordonez, 36, hit .303 with 12 home runs and 59 RBIs in 84 games before suffering a season-ending ankle injury in July. He is expected to return to right field for the Tigers in 2011.
