I always felt that Tim Couch got a bum rap in Cleveland. It seemed to me that the Browns front office failed to get a decent offensive line in front of Couch, the Browns didn't have much of a running game and they were always trying to trade Couch's one go-to-WR, Kevin Johnson. Hopefully, he has successfully rehabilitated his shoulder and is ready to go. If the Dolphins can sign Couch to a modest contract, he would be worth checking out.

I believe that Tim Couch was a good QB, but he was in a horrible situation. He would be a good backup QB, but i still think that the Dolphins should draft Jay Cutler for to be the starter in 2 years.

Isn't Kevin Johnson the same guy that ditched the Ravens?

He can be a nice backup.. He did nothing special when he was in GB for traning camp a few years back.. I don't expect him to be the starter though.

He got a lot of workouts in the oast 2 years but he had arm problems that sapped him of his ability to throw(he had surgery a year ago to fix it)....when I heard the name, I was skeptical, but I went back to see the numbers and the guy did get a bad rap....he was pretty good considering the situation there with the lack of talent they surrounded him with in Cleveland....its worth taking a chance if the arm strength has returned....

Tim Couch helped breath life into a dead Kentucky Wildcat football program, so I kept my eye on him while he was with the Browns and felt so frustrated for him. KCGSC and I were talking on the phone about Couch last night and one of the things that KC brought up was how quickly Couch would get yanked if things weren't going well in addition to the problems that I mentioned in my first post. I would just like to see Couch get one good shot, while healthy, to see what he could do with a little protection, a decent running game and a few good targets to catch the ball. Couch might feel like a kid in a candy store with Chambers, McMichael and Booker running routes for him. Not to mention that Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are capable receivers along with being good runners. I just feel that Couch is worth looking into if he's willing to work for a reasonable salary.

Couch has a lot of talent, and it was just totally messed up with in the Browns

If the Dolphins could bring in a solid QB they could excell, Tim Couch would fit nicely and I really would like to see him in an offense with a moderate line good RBs and Wideouts not to mention a killer Tight End. If he's healthy I definatly condone this as a Smart move. heres to Tim Couch throwing for 3500 yards and 20+ Touchdowns!

He has also visited Houston recently. With the UK bloodline, though, if he's not coming to KC, I'd like to see the Dolfandale end up with him in Miami.

I have always felt that KCGSC should quit using Dale's login. Seriously, I have to agree. It may be a little too late for Couch due to the injuries, but I always thought he was better than it showed at Cleveland. Couch isn't in high demand, so he should be able to be signed into camp at a low-risk contract and at least compete to see what he has.

In this case "me and I", perhaps!

I do love pasta. At least we have 24 in common BA.
