    Ugh. Disappointing loss. Not good to give up a goal 7 minutes into the game. We should have had a PK on an obvious hand ball though!

    heartbreaking. Valeri's reaction is pretty much how I felt.

    re: handball.. assuming you mean the one off the post? That one was a tough one due to angle. Best ref in the world probably wouldnt have seen that one.

    I completely disagree. That handball was obvious. Watch the replay.

    I didnt say it wasnt obvious with replay. It is obvious. But the referee, nor any linesman had anything that remotely resembled the angle that the slow motion tv replay gave us. And due to the positioning of the play, not a single ref in the world (with any decent refereeing pedigree) would have put himself on that side of the post.

    USSF refs have been horrendous the last few years... but that is not one that 99% of referees would have seen.
