....unless Neil makes a spectacular trade to land this team a legit difference maker.

CJ/Dame, with the roster as constructed, have hit their ceiling.

I think the first move has to be ousting Neil Olshey, not Stotts.

    Ladies, what say you?

If the team was just inexperienced, then I could hope for the future. But more experience isn't going to help this bunch. You can't just give a team a heart transplant.

To answer your question, unfortunately because I like him, Stotts goes first. They style he has moved them to (hero ball instead of ball movement) is something I don't understand, but that seems clearly on his shoulders. Also, the complete inability to counterpunch or come up with an alternate plan/lineup should be dooming--and the players seem to have given up on working for him.

Yes, Olshey should go too. This team needs a complete overhaul, not a bandaid. You need to bring in someone who can impartially look at this roster and do what needs to be done for the long term future.

Sure, fire Olshey, fire stotts, trade CJ, trade Lillard. It's just so obvious that we need to tank for the next 4 years and hope we can be better than the Sacramento Kings.

    Exciting days ahead right?

Not ready to blow it up, if Nurk and Collins Develop signficantly I think it will go a long ways. Big if perhaps but I have faith in these guys. Couple that with a true 3 n super D shooting guard and I think we'd be fine. With a new coach and solidified bench.

Which would be worse, rebuilding and attempt to get a two-way all start through the draft for the next four years, or watching this team get plastered in the first round for the next four years? Both are painful, but the first might have a happy ending.

I would blow it up, but not with regard to the young bigs, they can fit in another window. CJ should go for several reasons, and unfortunately, I would probably move Dame only because I don't think his window will align with a rebuild and it isn't really fair to make him use is prime years on a rebuild.

Maybe you should ask Kings fans or Clipper fans pre Ballmer days when they were lifetime lottery teams. Twolves finally made the playoffs as an 8th seed after 13 years of being a lottery team.

Dame isn't going anywhere. Everything else should be on the table - but there's no way that Paul Allen would entertain any offers for Dame.

Unfortunately that is the position Neil put us in when he decided to go all in on the Dame/CJ combo

Also, trading CJ doesn’t make us the Kings... Nurk and Collins will develop and have high upside... and whatever u get for CJ will just add to the future

You didn't directly. I'm assuming then that you would be okay with four years of first round exits?

You are projecting an unknown as if it is real. I live and operate in the now, not the future. I'm not opposed to change, but have no interest in going full rebuild at this stage and hoping to have better results than the Kings, Clippers or TWolves. I can ask you a hypothetical as well and ask if you would be okay with 13 years of lottery like the Twolves. Would you accept that and then make the playoffs the 14th year as the 8th seed and likely swept out of the playoffs?

Fair enough. I'm INFJ, so I live in the future. I would be willing to give moving CJ and Stotts a try and getting a 2-way SG a try. that would still require Zach and others to really grow in order to compete. Against the ADs, Warriors, Simmons, and Lakers after free agency, I don't see this team competing and wouldn't be opposed to getting a future star.

Frankly Cup I'd rather watch a new group of young guys vs a team that has no chance to do anything significant and has had their chance the past 2-3 years. Besides the 13 game win streak they played lousy Bball the majority of the season IMO, it was "for me" not enjoyable to watch. Everyone has views on this and should be respected, I vote for blowin it up and getting rid of Olshey at the least. I would also be fine with a CJ trade to try to balance out the roster and see what we can do with that
