I'll start with a couple softballs... Fuck a grown man who wears a hat indoors. Fuck a 47-year old who calls himself Kid anything. Ratcheting it up a notch... Fuck anyone who desecrates the Flag of the United States by cutting a slit in it and wearing it as a poncho: Fucking hypocrite. Don't believe me, ask the Veterans for Foreign Wars Fuck anyone who performs in front of the confederate flag for 10 years: And then, after the racially motivated murder of nine blacks at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, tells confederate flag protesters to "kiss his ass".
Cool story bro. I once saw Bill Cosby live. Had 2nd row tickets back when Cosby was the No. 1 show on TV. Now, you couldn't pay me to see him. BNM
Funny that you should mention the part about wearing a hat indoors. I frequently wear either a Trail Blazer hat or an Army hat. I always take it off when I go to a restaurant. I also take it off when I go to the VA. It's getting harder and harder to remember doing that because so many other people wear their hats indoors.
Me and MrsPokerDog are thinking about seeing Aerosmith when they start their residency in Vegas this spring.
I don't gamble but love to go to Vegas for the shows, the food, the weather and the people watching. Saw both Rod Stewart and The Who at Caesar's Palace. BNM
My claim to fame is seeing The Greatful Dead, Santana, Chicago, The Smothers Brothers, Neil Diamond and The Turtles live. I turned down chances to see Fogerty and Jimmie Hendrix. Hey, I got to shake hands with Richard Nixon and John Kennedy and hold a conversation with Nelson Rockefeller. Also, my name is in the phone book so I am somebody.
It was my grandmother's pet peeve. If she saw someone wearing a hat in a restaurant, she'd walk up to them, remove their hat, hand it to them and tell them, "You don't need to wear a hat, you have a roof over your head". She totally got away with it every time. What "tough guy" is going to talk shit to a 4'11", 96-year old, gray-haired granny? In most cases they'd laugh, nod their head and apologize to her. BNM
We're going in October. Driving this time, we've never done that before. Play MyVegas on facebook. We've got free rooms at The Mirage for 4 days.
Also saw the Dead (which is a carbon copy of a prior concert). Saw Chicago, missed Hendrix, loved CCR. The best deal I ever had was Deep Purple, Humble Pie (with Peter Frampton) and Black Sabbath in 1972. All three for $12 Everyone smoked weed in the old Spectrum in Philly.
Everyone smoked weed everywhere in the early 70s even the mid 60s. CCR is one of my all time favorites. Also loved Deep Purple. I saw the Dead and Santana at Parker stadium, now Reeser stadium, on the OSU campus. As soon as the music started, joints started floating around everywhere.
