...I know he's gotten a lot of grief from most all of us since joining the Yanx but can you think of another player who has such a true and unabashed and almost childlike love for the game?...he's one of those guys who I believe would play for free.

...yes, I admire his passion, but win, lose, or draw, I'll still don't think the Yanx will resign him for next year.

He's jeeped on being a Yankee for sure and he has come up with some surprise hits and plays. If Holiday choses not to return the Yankees may keep him around.

...^^^I'm thinking Gleyber Torres or Castro at 3B next year....I really like Frazier but I think either Torres or Castro would be an upgrade at 3b offensively...and defensively too arguably, not to mention also being cheaper.

Yeah, one's gotta' love his exuberance not only to play baseball, but fulfill his destiny as a child, a local NJ boy made good.

Tho' his b'avg wasn't impressive for the ChiSox in 016, he's shown us he can hit for power, drive in a lot of runs, and get on base .365 OBP, I'd take it any day over Headcase....

Plus he's very durable, and has been since he began his career...

I can't imagine what his OBP would be if he hit say .275, tho he hit .273 twice with the Reds, his obp% was low(er). Hell doesn't matter to me, just get on base, and play good solid D-

I too would like to see Torres at 3b, ... a hard call to make either way, eh???

...I'd like for them to find a way to jettison both Headley and Ellsbury.
