    3 years ago he moved to Spain to attend the Barcelona basketball school, because the Dutch coaches decided he had no talent. From the basketball school he went to the B squad, and now his first year in the A squad, he didn't get a lot of playing time. At age 21, he's still a project, and he will likely stay in Barcelona for a few years before moving to the NBA.
    Barcelona won the European Cup this season, so they can be considered among the strongest teams in European basketball.

    By the way, in the past Dutch coaches have put the label 'not talented' on another tall Dutchman, his name was Rik Smits....

    don't get too mad...a lot of good players will get signed through FA...draft pool players that is....although this is the Raps forum....Cuban did talk about how there were still good players out there and how the Mavs would sign them....

    I was pissed to see english, price, and marquis not being selected. Damn I wish we coulda got Lang.

    I know.. but people are complaining he didn't get picked.. and since I don't know the guy.. I'm asking about his weaknesses...
