Since when are Centennial, Gresham, Reynolds, Barlow, Sandy, & Hood River in Central Oregon?

Not understanding your point. All those schools HCP mentioned are a short drive to Portland. They are hours away from Central Oregon. Putting them in the Central Oregon group makes zero sense. You'll need to look at the pics in the link to know what we are talking about.

    THIS IS STUPID!

Can't believe they're not going to include 4A schools.

Right off the bat I see Freddie Jones Sam Barlow jersey. I graduated from Barlow the same year as Fred.

Funny story; Barlow was hosting a High School dunk contest featuring Fred, and Isaiah Rider was supposed to be a guest judge. They delayed the contest because J.R. was running late, he never showed. Come to find out later that night Rider had been caught smoking weed out of soda can in his car in West Linn and thats why he never showed up. Lol.

Funny, you mention Freddie Jones. I have met people over the years who think Dennis Nathan was the much better player. In fact, there are people who say that Nathan could have been the greatest basketball talent to ever come out of Oregon if not for drug abuse. I am still kicking myself all these years later for only catching Barlow's games that year and not watching Gresham play. But Nathan's talent was undeniable.

You have no idea how many times throughout the years I have been having a conversation with old friends from HS and couldn't remember Dennis Nathans name. Thanks for that!

I'd agree that Nathan was a better player, he was built like a man in HS. He was at that dunk contest as well. Barlow lost to South Salem in the championship that season, S.S. had big ass center and Barlow had no answer for him.

Good point...I got off track looking at a map and wasn't thinking school districts.

I saw it at the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert last night. It's really cool. All the smaller schools names are engraved in the wood by the maps of their region. You can kinda see it in the pictures in the link above.
