Multiple league sources with knowledge of the situation cited player frustration with Billups’ coaching demeanor and the team’s offensive system.

Don't give these trolls any ink BGD....they're just sowing dysfunction into the team that's not there. These are jinx tweets at best my friend.

His sideline demeanor bugs me too. But I’m still pro Chauncey.

I'd be surprised if it's to that point already. But I also would not be surprised if there is plenty of frustration right now, especially if the Blazers keep losing games like they have been. That frustration might not be pointed at Billups though. But he's not going to get a free pass from the players either. They all know this is his first HC job and that he has almost no coaching experience. I think he made a mistake in trying to use the media to motivate his players

I bet it's only those players we all suspect. Logically think about the rest of the lineup.

Dame? If he was complaining, he'd either want out or Chauncey fired.

Norman. Seems like the kind of player who calls people out on their shit.

Little? Playing better than he has before and given more freedom.

Simons. See above. Also said he prefers to have this kind of coaching.

Nance. Finally getting the starting gig.

Zeller? he's a vet min, so who cares.

The rest? Either rookies (Brown) or Scrubs/lucky (CJe, Kelvin, Snell, McLemore) to be in the league.

    That leaves who....

Hopefully 3 guys on their way out of town soon?
Also, possibly Powell, but hopefully not.

Is Norm in a package for Simmons a thing? Would Dame/CJ/Simmons/Nance/Nurk win games?

How would you describe his sideline demeanor?

Our players need some kicks in the ass because they are soft. Chauncey is doing the right thing

When players who have been let to do what they please and have adopted lackadaisical habits, are then given structure and accountability, there will be pushback.

My guess - Multiple League Sources = A certain players agent

Especially when a player who has been given the green light on offense and a pass on defense, is all the sudden having to change his game completely (or somewhat) AND has been giving hints about leaving to media members lately AND has had sub-par body language on the court.

Not saying I don't blame him/them for feeling that way (though not condoning it). But as I said earlier, going through the roster, there doesn't seem to be a lot of players who seem to be likely the complainers. That's not to say someone like Nassir or Anfernee (who I listed as less than likely candidates) couldn't be complaining about the way Chauncey comes off....but Nassir grew up in a military home, and I'm sure has seen his fair share of "abrasive" parenting styles, and Simons himself said he thrives when he is challenged/etc.

My personal order (which I will readily admit could be 100% bullshit) is Nurk, Roco and CJ.

Nurk because he's whined about shit before, RoCo because he just doesn't look like he's engaged with the teams offense or defense and lastly, CJ because he's seeing his role drastically changing.
